Skim Coat

Application: For adjusting the wall surface to be smooth before painting or applying decorative finishes

Instructions for Use

  1. Ensure the wall surface is clean, free from dust, grease, and mold.
    If the surface is very porous (e.g., fresh concrete), it should be primed first.

  2. Mix BLACKTIGER Skim Coat with clean water (mix ratio: 2.5 parts powder : 1 part water or 1 bag : 9–11 liters of water).
    Mix until smooth, then let the mixture rest for 1–2 minutes.

  3. Apply the mixture on the wall with a trowel or a single stroke to achieve a smooth surface.

  4. Smoothing (If a second coat is needed)
    Apply the second layer after the first layer has set or dried as desired.

  5. Allow to dry for 1–2 hours or until the surface is completely dry.

 

Recommendation

  • Concrete surfaces must be at least 28 days old.

  • The surface must be strong, clean, and free from dust and debris.
